Adam Marshall Huntingdon, UK
After setting himself a goal to finish a personal project by the end of every month in 2017, Adam’s first short movie was out at the end of January.
With a project like this, there are a few pros and cons that come with it. It's not something anyone can wake up and say "I want this done by x amount of days", due to the nature of it. Living locally to where I was shooting offered me more chances to take last minute plans and develop a short time-lapse sequence from them if and when great light and moments presented themselves. In the end, I collected well over 40-50 time-lapses, but not all of them were usable.
I learned so much from this project, and it will all be put to good use, since I do plan on making a second! Making the entire sequence myself was certainly a lot of work, but I think it paid off in the end. It's important to have projects that you want to do, and to actually make the time to realise them in the best ways that you can. A project like this isn't at all possible unless you go out and do it yourself.

The first photo trip of 2019 saw Snake Woodland in the Peak District. I’ve heard a lot about this place. Very beautiful to see during the rain as the little streams open up alongside the River Ashop. www.hiadammarshall.com www.instagram.com/stereocolours www.twitter.com/hiadammarshall
