Have you ever watered a plant, used a smartphone, built a sand castle, or paid for groceries? Then you've used the superpower of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). STEM is a superpower you use every day, and MARVEL STUDIOS is challenging you to channel that superpower for good as you enter to win an opportunity to demonstrate your superpower on Good Morning America, attend the red-carpet premiere of MARVEL STUDIOS' THOR: RAGNOROK in Hollywood, California, and more!

MARVEL STUDIOS' THOR: RAGNAROK SUPERPOWER OF STEM CHALLENGE invites girls nationwide - just like you - ages 15 to 18 in grades 10 through 12, currently living in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, to use the superpower of STEM for good by creating and sharing an original Do-It-Yourself project that could help your family, your community, or the world be safer, healthier, or happier. The project you make can be as simple or complex as you want. It can be something practical or something that would bring people joy - a robot, an app, a toy - anything that harnesses the superpower of STEM! You may create a new project or may submit an original project that had previously been developed for a class, for a science competition, or just for fun. Let your imagination and STEM skills run wild!

This is a trailer of a game made by a middle schooler.

Gustavo Zacarias, along with high schoolers Wilfried Hounyo and Golden Rockefeller, was in Washington, D.C. today to present his prize-winning work from the 2012 National STEM Video Game Challenge at the White House Science Fair.

Basically, this is the Science Fair of science fairs. 100 rockstar students get to meet President Obama and watch him try out their science projects.

So in addition to having amazing names, Gustavo, Wilfried, and Golden also happen to be blossoming game designers. Gustavo is creator of the game Dark Labyrinth (above), in which players have to navigate a dark labyrinth (SPOILERS!) while doing multiplication. Wilfried and Golden teamed up to make Electrobob, a game that teaches you about electrons.
