I feel like I’m about to melt or something
I just posted a review on IMDb... why would I do that most of those people are probably cishet their going to roast me alive. ( I made a comment about ahh whatever I’ll just copy it here)
“The characterization was great in this episode, and the advancement of plot points and more introduction to how things are across the universe in this future. “
(^i had to add this so none of the people commenting about “how dumb and unnecessary to the plot it was to have a nonbinary character” could just hate on me for not understanding Star Trek, because I’ve been watching Star Trek since I was 3.)
“As for the nonbinary character and their new pronouns being revealed and more rounding of the relationship between them and Stamets; it did a fantastic job. And for those that didn’t understand the significance of those scenes; Star Trek media has been making people that felt like they didn’t belong, feel comfortable for multiple generations. And I have never felt like someone like me could actually fit into a world like this, until tonight. Star Trek is just continuing on with what they have been doing for decades, bringing concepts to a mainstream audience and including it in their world to attempt to help advance our world whether it be with technology or social issues. Sorry this was long the other comments kind of irked me.”
Not to mention in the review portion on IMDb was almost just people complaining about the parts that are literally changing my life.
