misc prompts for your feels || @stcnehaven || accepting
“ my mind is so loud and i’m afraid it’ll never be quiet again. ” // leah
elijah furrowed his brows at leah's unusual and especially unexpected insight into her feelings. he could tell it's completely genuine, though she usually hides this vulnerable side of her behind sarcasm or sass.
"i wish i could offer you some comfort." it's hard for him to assess what leah needs. comforting words? a hug? nothing at all?
"do you want me to distract you? it may not help with the noisiness of your mind, but it'll give you something else to focus on."
❝ how about we don’t do that. ❞ ✉ : @stcnehaven ( for elijah from leah )
“Perhaps you’ve forgotten,” Elijah rolls up his sleeves, sparing his cufflinks from being stained as he begins The Abattoir clean up process and drags the nearest fallen enemy across the stone slabs. “But we do what we must for the good of this family. I would suggest reserving your judgement until you have the whole story.”
Leah Mikaelson ( @stcnehaven ) said ❝ all i want to do is get out of here, okay? ❞
A long moment passes in a lingering silence, Hayley surveying Leah’s face for a hint of the lie that must be hidden beneath. In the depths of her eyes, in the tuck of her frown.
❝Do you?❞ she asks, quiet and solemn. ❝Do you really?❞
It’s not like she could blame her if she did — god knows there’s enough reasons to leave this town and never come back — but she knows Leah. And she knows, like every other Mikaelson, like herself, there’s a part of her that’s screaming for someone to care. For her family to.
@stcnehaven said: “We could be mortal enemies, but you’re a coward.” karl @ nick
He wouldn’t lie, the coward comment was the thing that grabbed his attention from the start, and it did sting. But that was quickly overcome by the realisation of the rest of Karl’s statement. MORTAL ENEMIES? He raised both of his eyebrows.
“What type of mortal enemies though? The kind that hate each other but still have some kind if irresistible desire for one another, so they end up having kinky enemy se x, questioning themselves on why they’re like this - then end up getting feelings for their enemies and growing conflicted about their plans and their love for their enemy, until a tipping point where they must choose between their enemy and their plan?” Nick asked, tilting his head. “Because if that’s what you’re into, I’m totally cool with a bit of role play in the bedroom. Spices things up. Dunno what being a COWARD has to do with any of it though - unless this is you initiating the role play already. Okay wait, give me a moment to get in character.”
He cleared his throat, then an overexaggerated scowl appeared on his face and then spoke in a deep raspy batman impression voice. “I am not a coward for choosing the side of justice.”

@stcnehaven asked: “ there’s no i in 'team’. there is a 'me’, though, if you jumble it up. ” karl @ paige
“There’s also mate, meat, and ma if you jumble it up. Also tame, eat, and mat.” Paige said with a thoughtful frown, followed by a shrug. “As fun as word games are, can I explain to you more about this job? I know you don’t like to work with people, but all we need is for you to get me in, and out. For that part of the job, I’ll stay out of your way.” It was pretty annoying that the one place that had the information Paige needed had a closed network system; she was unable to hack in from the outside. “I have the blueprints and all the information, and a payment price that is open to negotiation, for you to look over before you decide right here.” She held up the file in her hand.
@stcnehaven asked: “a mess of a story i’m ashamed to tell.” karl @ elijah
“It is natural to have stories like that, darling.” There’s a softness in his eyes as he looks at Karl, hand curling around his and lightly squeezing. “If you ever want to talk about any of them, I will always listen. I will never judge you. Trust me, I am the last person to judge.” At least Karl didn't shove his stories he was ashamed of behind a door and forget about them. “But only when - and if - you are ready, Karl. Whether that is five minutes, five days, or five years - or more - it does not matter. I will be here.”
stcnehaven asked: “ if nobody hates you, you’re doing something wrong. ” karl @ kitty
“Oh, plenty of people hate me. Weirdly, most of them have something in common. The amount of time I’ve been called the spawn of satan… or that I’m a devil-worshipper. Really, they like to bring in the devil in some way. The hate mail that comes to the station really is something.” Not to mention the amount of people who have tried killing her, or the vampires who’s Long Game she’s unintentionally ( then very intentionally ) meddled with - the list really is very long. Who knew being a radio show host was so dangerous? “I did a show a couple weeks ago where I read some of them on the air and rated them on their originality.”
