The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends 15-20 seconds of hand washing, using the following steps:

Wet hands with water

Apply single shot of soap

Rub hands palm to palm

Rub back of each hand with the palm of other the hand with fingers interlaced

Rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced

Rub with backs of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked

Rub each thumb clasped in opposite hand using rotational movement

Rub tips of fingers in opposite palm in circular motion

Rub each wrist with opposite hand

Rinse hands with water

Dry thoroughly

This Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID 19) is still playing the role of being an antagonist. Indeed, many people are affected because of this virus especially the frontliners in the medical field and they are experiencing cruelty in fighting this battle and it’s true, that doctors and nurses are affected because aside from the lack of personal protective equipments (PPEs) they are also the one who are also responsible to all the COVID patient's recovery. They are the one who are really exposed to the disease and it is a big sacrifice for them because their life is also at risk.

And due to this happenings and me being a future healthcare professional, I am not scared but instead, I am more dedicated and motivated to continue my path. Also, I am passionate about my profession that I am currently taking right now and more inspired to finish it until the end. I know that just like the frontliners, I have big responsibility and I know that I am willing to accept this challenge. In this pandemic, I imagine what will going to happen if there will be no healthcare professionals who are assigned to cure all the patients and I have realized that many people are in need of our help. This crisis makes me so proud for the dedication of all the healthcare professionals and It would be an honor to be one of them soon. I promised to myself that I will do my best to pursue that RN in my name and if I will have a chance, I will definitely aim to get that MD that I really want.
