How has covid impacted your ability to stay on task? Are there any advantages to the situation that you can take advantage of?
I used to spend a ton of time at libraries and coffee shops. It’s where I’ve traditionally been able to focus best and I like the clear transition between relax time and focus time.
I miss coffee shops more than anything. I haven’t studied or worked in one since the beginning of March and it has been a huge adjustment for me.
That being said, I’m grateful that I was able to adapt to doing work at home. Sometimes I get out my Stauf’s mug and bake pastries and light a candle just to pretend I’m not at home.
Daily challenge: yesterday I did not cook a healthy dinner. I ended up eating popcorn and a whole carton of strawberries. Today, I’m going to journal! I’m very happy to have taken the day off and I might also bake an apple galette.
