Nikki was an unusual alternate. The gender stuff didn't phase Scourge in the slightest. It was the way she was pretty obviously hurt. That wasn't supposed to happen to one of them.

He'd arrived in this zone ready for another Sonic he wanted to tear down only to find someone who clearly didn't match his image of the hero on a pedestal. Despite the fact that she was obviously hiding it, she was too immediately vulnerable to be that smug, unassailable object of his hatred and envy. So instead he just... lingered and talked. Those words he'd once gloated about one bad day were stinging in the back of his head as he tossed around what this meant for both her and himself.

Dual eyes stayed focused on his steady hands, slowly pouring some kind of liquid from one beaker to another. He doesn't even glance at her while responding-

❝ Why would ghosts wanna come in your house? Sounds more like you have a WEIRDO living in your attic at that point- ❞

The second beaker suddenly SHATTERED, liquid spilling on the floor and his hand. It began to bubble viscously, eating through the floor in a matter of seconds.

Erlen simply shook his head, watching as the liquid slowly soaked into his skin, as well as the glass. He shook the rest of it off, further destroying the floor.

“ ... ”

[ sonic.exe ] you mean morpheus? like from the matrix?

// to Eggman, from Nikki! Confused hedgehog who's Eggman died meets an alternate version of him...

"Do I look like a ghost you wretched pincushion?!"

The Doctor would very quickly bat the hedgehog away before starting to glower down at her from his Egg-Mobile. Something about this one seemed oddly familiar and yet different somehow, considering the different Sonics he had encountered this must simply be another one...
