Gender or Lack Thereof

After all the initial nominations had happened, our tournament looked a bit something like this

(One of the categories is 'Their Own Thing Going On' which might mean a ship beyond the binary, a multi-gendered polycule, Schrodinger's Gender or a tire. Essentially a miscellaneous category where gender doesn't really matter)

To summarize, tumblr enjoys yaoi more in theory, but yuri more in practice

Numbers in the Ship

Keeping it simple, we've got pairs and polycules

What I find very fascinating is that these two categories both basically halved their initial count, which is exactly what a normal voting pattern would assume in a bracket tournament. There is just about no difference in ship preferences for pair vs polycule when it comes to voting

Unique Ship Parts

When the tournament began, there were 153 different individuals nominated in 145 different ships. After the first round of voting, with only 73 ships left, there's only 89 individuals remaining in the tournament. There's a lot of ways I could present the data, but what I think would be most interesting would be presenting the full list of individuals, the number of ships they were involved in to start and how many subsequently lost in their brackets (and those eliminated marked in red)
