// If only I could explain fully what Star Trek has meant to me.  I was raised on it, watching repeats of The Original Series with my mom when I was a little kid (she was a big fan of Dr. McCoy), saw every single Trek film in the theaters multiple times, watched The Animated Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise on first airing, read the books and comics, went to fan conventions, met several cast members...and I’m still doing all of that today while watching Discovery, Picard, and Lower Decks and eagerly awaiting Strange New Worlds, Prodigy and Section 31. Star Trek enabled me to meet some of my very best and dear friends, it gave me the means to meet the woman who’d become my wife, inspired me to write, and healed me during the worst times of my life.  It has been a cornerstone of my life, and it will be a part of me to my last breath.
