they are so cute in the first book, such a perfect example of that friendship during college that is literally godsend yk? that person who stays your twin for life i fear;

thank god ardelia has a freaking backbone in "hannibal" someone had to throw that in clarice's face one way or another...sorry but even though she's my fav i have a lot to say about her shooting people without thinking twice and not de-escalating the situation first and ardelia was right the whole damn time (and clarice deserved that slap...KIND OF please don't attack me alright);

i found it cute that they live together in their little house, i'd like to think they have pijama parties when they are able to and make a big bowl of sweet&salty popcorn during movie nights;

my headcanons are:

they had a little beta fish t hat died after one year and his name was "celine dion"-1-;

adhd / adhd duo but they function in different ways so sometimes they get frustrated at each other, it was so bad once that they didn't talk for three days, by the end of it clarice who never cries was sobbing and ardelia had that sopping wet cat look when they made up;

ardelia puts the full laundry baskets close to clarice's room bc she knows that woman will be up at some ungodly hours, stressed as hell just to do the laundry;

they have kissed for sure but never talked about it, still i bet clarice was jumping up and down when she realized she kissed a baddie;
