Star Gladiator 2 / Plasma Sword on Dreamcast by Capcom 1998 I was never sure why they changed the name to Plasma Sword for the west. Far worse imo. The Japanese cover is fantastic and I've always wanted the poster version of it. Again the cover art, manual and disc art we got in the west were awful in comparison as you can see. The U.S. release is slightly better than PAL but still not a patch on the Japanese copy. "Despite running on hardware based on the Sony PlayStation, the game was instead ported to the Dreamcast" This sequel removed characters Rimgal and Kappah and added 10 pallette swaps as a cheap way to bolster the roster. Black Hayato was made into a seperate character so all was forgiven haha. Plasma Field moves were added and are real fun whilst being unique to every character. The first game had the subtitle 'EPISODE 1' yet this wasn't used again. Love this game BUT it is one of the rare DC games that does not support VGA so I have to change cables when playing.
