Announcement! StarFox Fan Comic Project -Seeking Writers & Artists For The Project!
Greetings everyone! My name is Summerset Banjo, and I'm making a announcement that I'm making a StarFox Fan Web Comic Book series!
This webcomic takes heavy inspiration from the IDW and Archie Sonic comic books, the Dark Horse Star Wars comics, and various other comics and media from the 80s and 90s. The premise of the comic is to start with the origins of the StarFox team prior to the Lylat Wars and how they grow into the heroes they are in the games. If the comic goes well, I plan to adapt the Lylat Wars and beyond!
I am seeking interested Writers & Artists for this project that would be willing to volunteer and collaborate with me. I'm seeking Inkers, Colorists, and especially Pencilers for the project! Any level of experience and skill can apply!
You DO NOT have to be a fan of StarFox in order to be involved with this project. I see this project as a opportunity to get your name out their and practice your skills. This project is all Volunteer. However you MUST be willing to do the work! Rest assured I am very willing to work with everyone's time and availability to make it possible. Been playing Star Fox Command on emu and tbh I think the biggest flaw of the game the more I think about are the missile chases and the time limit.
Other than that, I think I've come to a point where I can say the hate this game got was overblown, even if I was once a part of it, at least it's interesting.
Like yeah, the infamous endings– only 3 of them are that bad and at least it has something in its story worth talking about. I can't say the same for Zero.

Low effort meme because I’m tired of misinformation. I meant to post this earlier when I made it but I forgot to. As a note, IGN seems to have deleted half of the interview (it IS an old interview) but WayBack has saved it so thankfully the interview isn’t lost in the void.

Additionally, I want to also point out that Cuthbert is not a Nintendo employee. He is a developer that is contracted to help with Nintendo products occasionally and was contracted on for Command because of his history with Star Fox and Star Fox 2. He does not have the authority to declare anything canon or non-canon. All of that is purely up to Nintendo. And until the day Nintendo comes out and says “Yeah, we’re retconning Command”, then Command is still canon.
I am still in the process of redesigning Saru, but I have decided on a solid bit of backstory for him and Andrew’s connection.
I... don’t think they’re actually related, but Saru is a mentor and father figure to Andrew! Though, Andrew is under the impression that Saru is his biological father, because he spent a lot of his childhood in his care. Though not as loyal to him as he was to Andross, over time Andrew came to appreciate what Saru did for him, especially during the Anglar Takeover, as Andrew began to question his role in the Lylat System, and where his loyalties lied.
Much like Saru once was, Andrew finds himself drawn to the sea. Good thing too, considering his allegiance to the Anglars requires him to make aquatic trips often.
