Huh, I wonder if in your au Jet is adopted or if Blazes dad is just a bird to the Queens cat.
I'm sorta picturing a younger Jet creating the protoype Extreme Gear to catch up to her firejet(hehe) speed and from thisngot addicted to racing. Although I'm guessing he still bothers her to race every so often.
Wonder who'd be the 3rd of the Princely trio? In wierd sense even though Blaze is a speedster, she'd also be a pretty good fit for the Power type of a Heroes style wheels, Jets in the gear has been called faster than Sonic sometimes but of the rogues he's the one who flies up in the air with it the most.
I also see Jet as something of a trouble maker but not really a fighter or likea/good at violence. Which would be an interesting play on a sort of techy sidekick counterpart to Tails who gets scared or nervous easy, but is actually a really good fighter almost at Sonics level. For all their almost criminal shenanigans Blaze might trust Wave and Storm to watch out for him since he gets in trouble so easy.

to answer your other questions, i don't think i've ever thought about what they'd be like growing up together but because their parents weren't even supposed to be together (in the story setting, me and my friend's oc are supposed to be together to make jet and blaze) they raised the kids separately and later when they were older the famliy got back together and they had more kids.
i have to ask my friend or she can just reblog this and answer the question, likely i will just ask her and put her words on here cause it's been a while since i've invested in this story but-
Cannon is a pirate, (this is not one piece related i promise she thought of this before that) and Blaze's mom is a queen i didn't personally think anything father then that but they were not supposed to be seeing eachother and they just did and they probably had their happy accidents in that time frame of seeing eachother.
Ember (my oc, blazes mom) keeps blaze cause nobody will know she isn't her child where as if she kept Jet people would wonder whos the father. She didn't want people to know and she didn't tell anyone.
Cannon takes Jet and leaves, he didn't even raise his son cause he's not the nurturing type he gave him to someone else and Jet honestly never had a problem with this but Jet doesn't particularly for his dad even though he does think he is cool he is jealous of his success but also Jet is more on the good guy side and his dad is more on the "i do whatever i want regardless of it being evil or not" side so they don't get along cause his Dad will rob his son if he feels like it. He has robbed Jet for a chaos emerald im sure in our scenarios.
Blaze doesn't know anything about her dad and when she reconnects with him when she's older she is a daddies girl and when Jet reconnects with their mom she babys him and he's a mama's boy.
Blaze does crave the freer lifestyle and sailing with her father (who i believe if i remember the circumstances) at the time kidnaped her but then he saw her up close and realized that was his child (cause she looks just like her mother) kept her with him and they get along well cause Blaze can understand things from different points of view better then Jet so she gives her dad the benefit of the doubt cause hes her dad when he does things that are kinda evil (she also tries to bargain so it's not so evil)
Blaze doesn't like her mom cause her mother is trying to get her to rule as quick as possible, her mother feels like the responsibility can go to blaze as quick as possible (i dont know why i thought that i guess she doesn't want to be queen anymore? for some reason) and Blaze is ready to do it but Blaze quickly understands that that takes away alot of her freedom but at the sametime it doesn't have to and she rules very differently then her mother.
this whole story from point A to B is messy and we need to rewrite it as a whole but Blaze has never met Wave or Storm she doesn't actually visit Jet often cause he lives in a moving object and it's hard to do that. The only time she gets to see him is when he's around Sonic.
i have redesigned Blaze's mom and she doesn't look like the type to push her work off on Blaze cause she doesn't want to do it, i personally feel like NOW that i have better story writing skills she probably pushed it off on Blaze as early as possible cause that's probably what her mother did to her and she wants Blaze to rule for a long time so when Blaze has a child she can do the same thing. I remember it was part of our scenario that her mother picked out someone for Blaze, his name was Prince the cat, Blaze and Prince actually just become really good friends and despite Prince doing his best to try and woe Blaze she told him she wasn't into him and they left it at that.
i think their first meeting was almost identical to their parents, it's been a long time since i talk to my friend about them but i believe Jet stole a chaos emerald from Blaze. Something was happening to the world as it always does and she was trying to get it to Sonic and co, but Jet didn't care about what they were doing and wanted to keep it.
i do not for the life of me remember how they found out they were siblings but Blaze started trying to treat him significantly nicer and he did not hold the same sentiment. it was like:
"Oh, brother" and he's like "yeah, i don't care"

but because of this Blaze tries to make time for him and insert herself in his life which makes them friends very later on. He even goes as far to ask her for things cause she's a "Princess" and she should be able to "pull strings" for him and Blaze overtime has learn that Jet is very sleazy and doesn't treat him differently then if she knew him on normal terms though he can tug at her strings with the "but we're siblings" card but sometimes depending on what he's trying to ask for or rope her into that's not morally good she'll be like "that doesn't warrant me doing X thing for you cause it's illegal"
Blaze does have a softer spot for him then he does for her upon knowing they are siblings cause she doesn't want him to feel not included or like he doesn't matter (he does care too but i guess you could chalk it up to his lifestyle and personality that he doesn't care as much as she does but he does cares)
she doesn't put up with his nonsense but she does care for him. Neither of them would go as far to say they love eachother cause they just kinda met not long ago but they do care about eachother and would help eachother out if need be.
Blaze promised to at least come watch him race if she can, she is a very busy individual and if the chance calls for it she would join a race with him. Though Blaze is playable in alot of racing games i feel racing is out of her playing field. I do trust Blaze can drive, very well at that but her lifestyle tells me racing shouldn't be her forte despite her being playable in racing games.
at least that's my take and headcanon. it's more like you are controlling blaze so she wins if you control her right where as i think Blaze would take like 5th maybe 4th place in a good race. (i used to play alot of sonic riders and zero gravity in my free time)
canon or not, i feel Blaze knows nothing of extreme gear but i think she would let Jet teach it to her and ask if they could have it in her kingdom trying to introduce something he cares about to her world. i do think Jet would try and let her introduce something in her life to his but Jet is a little selfish so the way he'd go about it is likely trying to steal her treasure. The babylons are treasure hunters and he cannot help himself.
She has to learn to appreciate him for what he is as he has to learn to not push it with her.
trying to introduce extreme gear to her kingdom is a Wave and Blaze interaction and if Blaze can find Jet and visit him she can interact with his team. I feel Marine and Storm would actually get along. Silver is already Jet's friend in our scenario he actually knew him for a while and they are close friends.
Blaze can know Jet through Silver but Silver doesn't have alot of good things to say about his jerk friend so she kinda has to see to believe with this one.
I'm also guessing Jet and Bean are friends, even though Jet would largely denies it or associating with other destructive antagonist types since they tend to get him into trouble. I think he'd still have a soft spot for Bean, just that he would be willing to put up with him alot more if Bean was up for racing more often than not at all.

Jet and Bean are not friends, i have to figure out a way to fix our canon but we have to drop the "Bean is Jet's cousin" idea cause if that's the case i can't have Blaze/Bean not that it's a canon ship to the scenario Bean brings a light to Blazes life that i enjoy.
