I am completely fascinated with the idea of past smells of places. As in, when I watch period pieces, I imagine how much it must have stank to my modern sensibilities and somehow, that takes me right there in my imagination... FYI, no movie, I’ve seen has done this visual stank better than Perfume, about a 17th(?) century perfumer, who gets his powerful scents from a horrific source. Anyway, this Euro history/education youtube find, is right up my alley... The entire Absolute History catalog is greatness if you wanna be extra-fascinated by, and grateful for modern advances. #QuarantineUplfit
