A friend wanted to draw a group portrait of friend's sona and I was like 'I don't....really have a sona. The purple bunny in my icon is more of like an advertising mascot for my blog that I don't feel inclined to change.'
And then I got court assigned a Jackalope because I am a weird creature who is also immensely nervous.
I just put a wig on a rabbit monster.
Context: I work at a library and it's been raining crazy hard recently. We have a large flower bed outside of the building and the worms were migrating around cause the rain makes it easier for them. They were ALSO wandering inside. So to keep them from getting stepped on, I went to go gather them up? And it was a FULL HANDFUL OF WOIMS.
They were relocated to the flower beds, but most of my day was spent relocating worms from the dangerous inside to the wonderful wet outside.
Which honestly was a wonderful use of my time. It's my favorite thing about my job is that I'm the person they call to catch and release the little critters that get in.
Sometimes if I'm at work and wearing my jingly earrings, I'll shake my head like a dog to get the Jingle Euphoria I crave in the dull moments.

One of the exhausting things at the moment is constantly "having to" walk to my window. Like right now, I sat down with dinner, I'm watching an old stream on twitch. And suddenly my brain goes: "walk to your window NOW, maybe old T is outside Right Now". And I'm just like... buddy... I just sat down. I am tired. I looked out my window right before I sat down. Less than ten minutes ago. I can't look out the window all day every minute. If old T is here more than the one hour per week that we are relatively sure of (which is prominently during my office hours so I won't see her then though I do WFH that day next week which will be a challenge) - anyway, if she is here more than that, we'll run into her eventually. I'm not gonna exhaust myself by constantly walking to my window (which is not like... physically exhausting, but mentally - absolutely).
Anyway. Let me get up and walk to the window so at least I can finish my dinner after that.
