Nearly impossible. His beloved is exempt from his anger, and the things that can make Stage VI show up. You'd have to push him so hard for so long it caused a Stage V snap; luckily, I've written a potential scenario along those lines.

I mean. He already does a whole lot counting on MC's 'forgiveness', even if it's through brainwashing and drugs. :p
I can't take the suspense anymore, I need to know what sort of disaster (or perhaps not disaster?) Skipper/Avery would turn into. Two eternally-thirsty beanpoles from the British Isles: there's a lot of good stuff that could happen there. But Avery is a romantic sap who wants a longterm partner to dote on, while Skipper is devoutly aromantic and gets nervous and cagey if he thinks someone is too interested. Would this avert disaster, or merely compound it? Would Skipper's deep phobia of small sharp objects like needles and scalpels have an opportunity to rear its ugly head? I'm so invested in this potential trainwreck.

Or, well... this could go one of two ways, one of which would be a complete and utter mess.
The good timeline is that Skipper meets Avery while he's looking for a hookup, and they meet up, have a great time, and never see each other again.
The bad timeline is Skipper getting picked up in the ambulance, and Avery getting all fixated on him- inevitably leading to his kidnapping, stay in the facility, and eventual Happy Domestic Homelife 💕 Which! Would be a NIGHTMARE for the romance-averse Skipper, being doted on hand and foot, kissed and carried around because his ankles are still healing... Somehow I don't think any kind of captivity would go well for him, considering his history.
And yes... he'd eventually be subject to Stage III, which involves getting stuck with a syringe and cut with scalpels, and I'm not sure if being sedated would help alleviate the phobia response very much... 😬
Skipper becoming combatant, withdrawn, or irritable in Avery's completely voluntary company would gradually cause him to destabilize, since Avery wholly believes his beloved loves him too... the cognitive dissonance would chip away at his fragile psyche and greatly up the chances of a Stage V snap. Skipper, however, is hardly a mere human, so I wonder if he'd win out if that happened! 👀
Just stick to the one night stand, boys. The banter would be legendary.

so, what would avery do if he ended up w someone who just. for some reason deadass couldn't feel pain? like he cuts into them or snaps a bone and their only reaction is just a flat "bruh." but they're still perfectly lovey dovey aside from that?
Honestly I’m not sure if he’d ever even find out- a person like this would be safer than most from Stage V, and he injects you with anesthetic for cutting sessions anyway; though maybe he’d find out down the line during domestic life when his beloved cuts themselves cooking and is just like *shrugs*.
Overall it wouldn’t affect things much- but if we’re asking about Stage V, he’d be a little disappointed. Not that it’d stop him from killing you, of course.

Juniper loves that shit. They’re not really smart enough to figure out how to access them on their own, but if someone showed them, they’d sit there watching it all day long.

Avery facts:
a) Any and all blood from his beloved turns him on.

Avery wouldn’t. In Stages I-III, that’s way too close to trauma land for him, and in Stages IV to V, he’s way too fucked up and focused on sex & carnage to bother with detail work. Juniper would sooner carve your name into themselves than you- though their go-to is a symbol that represents you. If you asked for it, they’d happily do it... but don’t let them get too excited about your blood & pretty noises, lamb. 💖
