@nikkis_regal_royals - Fireworks are dangerous and a nuisance. Every year we read about all the people and animals injured because of fireworks displays. I'm not against a public display done by professionals who know what they're doing. But allowing the general public to set off fireworks is dangerous and irresponsible. Where I live, there are probably a dozen homes/families where fireworks are set off - not just on 5th nov and not just for a few hours on that day. It goes on for weeks at all hours. I'm pissed off with my dogs being scared all night and not being able to go outside, and I'm tired of cleaning up the debris shit that falls in my garden. Who agrees that fireworks should be banned from the general public ? - For me the answer is simple, aside from being a noise nuisance and terrifying our pets and wildlife, Fireworks are explosives with the potential to blow your arm off ! They should be illegal to be sold to the general public and used only in displays held by licensed professionals. So far the fireworks has cost me £70 in calming tablets for my royals and it isn’t even bonfire night yet! The pet shops are selling out of all calming tablets and that just shows how many pets are suffering right now! For those people that plan to waste their money on sad amateur displays in their gardens - thanks in advance for contributing to scare the shit out of elderly relatives, pets living near by, the birds that have no quieter area to escape to. 🤬 . . . . . .
