Rory finished her GCh today, and with it her show dog career!

There are a lot of people to thank and none of them are on tumblr so I'm flexing on myself here instead. I worked so freaking hard to train her show dog behaviours - she can free stack and hand stack from most gait speeds and from a standstill, she can politely and calmly show her bite and all her back teeth, she can gait at multiple speeds and on multiple lengths of leash, and she can be crated, penned, or tethered and wait quietly and respectfully.

It took three weekends to knock off every single point she needed for her Ch and GCh - 9 points her first weekend, 3 + 17 points her second, and those last 3 this past weekend. Since I decided to hand her off, she hasn't had a single weekend where she hasn't won big. My friends' phenomenal handling and her thorough understanding of what's expected of her (plus her good genetics) made this possible.
