Speaking of smilies on her face, the door to her office opened and in walked Daniel with a bag of food and a tray of drinks for them, she grinned and slowly stood, padding over to him barefoot with a hand on her stomach, “hi!” she grinned, she loved when her husband visited her at work.

“Hey,” he leaned in and kissed her gently, he sat down the food and turned back to kiss her again, wrapping his arms around her waist, “excited to see me?”

“Very! So is our little bug!” she said and took one his hands, moving it to where their baby was kicking.

“Good.” He nodded and stroked his thumb over the area of her sweater where their child kicked and thumped, “alright hungry?”

“Yes. Your baby makes me hungry!” she laughed and sat down on the couch, pulling him with her, “And this baby also makes me hungry for you.” she grinned and leaned in, kissing him sweetly.

“I thought you said no sex in your office after Henry almost caught us the last time.”

“Well I’m pregnant this time and very horny, so I’m willing to bend the rules.” she smirked, “and our son can deal with it, he’ll be doing this someday with his wife.” Regina said with a smirk as her arms wrapped around his neck.

Daniel raised his brows and grinned, “I see.” a genuine smile graced his features when she said “our son” when referring to Henry. He may still see Emma every so often and what not but after Regina had noticed Henry had really taken a liking to Daniel as a father figure, she sat him down about just how serious she and Daniel were and the next day, he was calling Daniel ‘dad’ and had been ever since. “Regina!” he said in shock. “He doesn’t need to know that yet! I haven’t even sat down to give him the talk.” he laughed, “you are something else my pregnant and horny wife.” He kissed her gently, “but our food is getting cold so we should probably eat.”

“Right. We’ll save dessert for later.” she pulled away so she could eat and winked at him.

“Hey now,” he pulled her closer by the waist so she was snugly pressed against his side, “I never said we had to stop touching.” He grinned.

“Oh, well I see.” she giggled and kissed his cheek, she began eating as he did and once he finished his, she was still eating so he took the opportunity to kiss her neck languidly, which produced a shiver from his wife.

Regina giggled as she finished eating, “you, sir, are very distracting.” she said and turned to face him, “but I love you.” she kissed him.

“I love you too. And admit it you like me distracting you.”

“Maaayybbbeee.” she sing songed. “Maybe I just like you period.”

“Like? Not love?” he feigned hurt.

Regina gasped and turned around, maneuvering into his lap, her knees next to his thighs. She rested back on her own and placed her hands on his shoulders. She felt Daniel’s go to her waist, stroking her sweater covered baby bump. “Believe me, I wouldn’t be sitting in your lap, a ring around my finger, and knocked up with your baby, due in just four short months, if I didn’t love you.” She looked right into his blue eyes, “so believe me when I say, I love you, Daniel. More than you’ll ever know.” Regina leaned in and kissed him, cupping his cheek with her left hand.

When they parted Daniel smiled, “I love you too. And I think I have a pretty good idea of just how much you love me. You’ve become this person that no one, maybe with the exception of Henry, in this town has ever seen you be. The girl I fell madly in love with. Not all of her is here, because you have matured and life has changed you but the essence is still there and I’m so happy that you are the way you are. You’re my wife, my true love, and soon, the mother to the first of many of my children I hope?” He finished with a smirk.

“You bet.” She replied. She was honestly touched by his words, “how the hell did I ever get chance to deserve you? Even before, when you were alive in our world. I was this little pawn in my mother’s life plan. Now I’m your wife and I’m having your baby. I don’t get it. I wasn’t supposed to ever be loved by someone. Especially someone like you, so honest and kind…” Tears quickly gathered in the corner of her eyes, “Daniel…”

Daniel listened to her words, his heart broke, “Regina…” He raised his left hand up to wipe away a tear that had escaped and was now racing down her cheek, “you’ve always deserved my love. Never forget that. What your mother wanted you to be wasn’t your choosing and what you chose is what let you deserve this. Deserve me, deserve our little peanut,” he moved his right hand to where their baby was kicking and rubbed in circles. “The choices you made as the person your mother tricked you into believing you were don’t matter…”

“Yes they do. Because most of those choices have ruined so many lives, and I am so sorry for that. One of the biggest choices I made then was to bring us all here. And look where that got me.” she sighed exasperatingly.

“It got you to motherhood, companionship, happiness. You wanted your happy ending and while you didn’t do the nicest of things to get you to that place, you’re righting those wrongs are you not?” He saw her nod, “then that’s why you deserve it.” he kissed her forehead, “and if you hadn’t brought us here, I don’t know how long it would have taken me to find you in our world. But looked what happened here, you found me outside of your house in the pouring rain and we went inside and made love in now our bed. What a start to a happily ever after, huh?”

“Oh hell of a great start if I remember. I’m pretty sure the repeat of the way I rode you was how this little bug came to be,” her free hand found his on her baby bump.

Daniel grinned, “yeah, probably.” He pecked her lips, “maybe that’s our lucky baby making position. ” he smirked, “one shot of my swimmers while you’re in that position. Boom. Pregnant.” A smirk appeared on his lips.

“Oh cocky are we?” She raised a brow and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Well yes, I do have a penis.” He grinned like a mischievous school boy.

Regina opened her mouth and giggled, “cheeky too.” She smirked, “I’ll just have to teach you a lesson, my dear stable boy.”

“True but I think you should finish up your mount Everest pile of paperwork first. Business before pleasure, Regina.” He chastised.

Regina dropped her mouth open in shock, “double punishment for you mister,” she leaned in and kissed him roughly, “I’m going to get you later. Daniel Stabler, you know at my horny and pregnant state I would much rather make pleasure my business.” She winked at him, “getting pleasure from you, giving pleasure to you,…getting pleasure from you,” she said again with a giggle.

Regina twisted Daniel’s ring around her finger and sucked in a deep breath. Her life could be so different.

“Gina!”

Regina snapped out of her thoughts as she turned to face her husband. He was ready to go with the horses so they could return home. Her daughter was running circles around her father’s legs screaming “daddy up! Daddy up!” Regina smiled fondly at the pair and passed her hand down to the swell of her belly where their second child grew. “I’m coming, Daniel. Keep Helena from running a hole into the ground, would you?” She asked with a smirk.

Regina went and petted a horse fondly, her engagement and wedding bands glittering fondly in the sunlight that shown through the stable through their open doors. She had only recently gotten her wedding band, wearing her engagement ring as her only band for most of their marriage up until this point. She didn’t even care that it was really a rivet off the saddle from this very stable, it was from Daniel and that was all that mattered.

Daniel finally had saved enough money to buy her a proper ring, suggesting she wear that one instead altogether, it was a real ring with a small, subtle diamond in it and she adored it. She wore both rings proudly, claiming her as a married woman.

Regina walked towards Daniel and kissed him gently. She hoisted her three year old into her arms, the miniature Regina with Daniel’s blue eyes squealing with delight. Her daughter placed a sloppy kiss to Regina’s cheek and sucked on her thumb, resting her head in the crook of Regina’s neck.

“Should you be carrying her while with child, Gina?” Daniel asked, tying the last bag onto the saddle.

“I’m fine Daniel.” She reassured, her back only hurt slightly and being a mere four months pregnant, she knew holding her daughter wouldn’t do much harm.

“If you say so.” He kissed her cheek, “but if you…” He said as he made his way to the other side of the horse but was cut off by Regina.

“I know I’ll hand her back to you.” She nodded with a smile.

Regina whispered a lullaby into her daughter’s ear to help the little girl get a head start on sleeping for the majority of their journey. When she felt her daughter become almost dead weight against her, she smiled and kissed her daughter’s forehead, she loved being a mother very much.

Regina was helped by Daniel as she was hoisted up onto the wagon with Helena in her lap fast asleep. He joined her moments later and was about to ride off when he saw Henry approaching the three(technically four if you count their child growing within Regina).

“Henry! Come to see us off?” Daniel asked of his father in law.

“Yes! Have a good trip.”He leaned up on the wagon to kiss his daughter and granndaughter’s heads. “Make sure to letter me when your new bundle has come into the world and I’ll come see them.” Henry smiled and shook Daniel’s hand, “keep taking good care of my girls.”

“I will, dad.” Daniel said.

“And Gina, keep this boy in line.”

“I will daddy.” Regina said with a smirked playing her features.

“Alright well best travels to you, I love you all.” Henry said and walked back up to the manor.

“Now, ready?” Daniel asked.

“Yes.” Regina said and leaned in, capturing his lips in a slow kiss, one, now that they were busy being parents and making a living, they often didn’t have time for besides during private intimate times. When they parted Regina gave him a loving smile that reached her chocolate brown eyes.

“What was that for?” Daniel asked, breathless. That woman could certainly take his breath away in more ways than one.

“Just I’m so grateful we get to have all this.” She gestured between them, their daughter, and her baby bump. “That I get to be with you freely, kiss you like that whenever I please.”

“Oh I see, well please, when the urge strikes feel free to kiss away.” Daniel responded, pecking her lips.

Regina snorted a laugh, “I’m sure you’d love that.”

“I would.” And with that, they were off, back home.

Regina snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of someone behind her, she looked at the sight of her husband with a dopey grin on his face and their daughter in his arms. “She still asleep?”

“Out for the night.” He said.

“Lets put her in her bed so we can get some rest ourselves.”

“Lets.”

After they got Helena settled into bed Regina changed into a loose fitting nightgown and Daniel stripped down to nothing, Regina not complaining that he often slept in the nude. She was his wife, she had a right to stare. Right? She turned around crawled into the bed next to her husband and he immediately scooted down as his head found her belly.

“Hello there little one. I hope you’re a boy.” He heard Regina chuckle and he kissed her nightgown clad stomach.

“Daniel I don’t know if they can hear you.”

“It’s always worth a shot.” He said and continued to talk to her stomach.

Regina rolled her eyes and stroked her husband’s hair, smiling fondly down at him, “I’m so lucky to have this life.”

Daniel lifted his head, “this life? Are you sure? You could be a queen right now.” He said.

“I know.” She nodded, “some cold hearted queen without her true love by her side but I don’t.”

“You wouldn’t trade all this for riches?” He asked.

“Never. You gave a lot more than riches. So much love I can barely handle that I have it sometimes. I’m a mother because of you, a happily married wife because of you, you helped me out of a dark place that I was heading if my mother didn’t stop her cruelty and I didn’t get away.” She explained.

“But…” She pressed a finger to his lips and shushed him.

“But nothing. I wouldn’t trade this life with you, for the wealthiest life in the world. Your love makes me like the richest woman in the world.”

Daniel closed his eyes and moved up and kissed her, cupping the back of her neck, burying his hand in her dark, long black curls. Regina gripped onto his shoulders and pulled back for air moments later, pressing their foreheads together, “and besides, if I had a different life, I wouldn’t get to feel on a daily basis how phenomenal your kisses were.” Regina said with a giggle.
