All right, let’s do an updated version!  Here’s a link to the old one (which was from chapter 31). 

Nothing much has changed with our top skeles.  Red, Axe, Q, and Stretch are still all-in, absolutely in love.  Stretch has definitely fallen deeper since we last did a feelings check, and things have gotten a little rocky with Axe as of late, but that’ll go more in-depth next chapter.   Red and Q have recently discussed something off-screen… and that definitely has to do with the LL.  But that’ll be revealed later, don’t worry.  Red’s still struggling with the idea that he might just end up friends with her, even if he doesn’t let it show, while Q’s trying to maintain his presence in her life – although he seems like something’s on his mind these days.

Blueberry is completely infatuated; he’s close to love, but it’s not quite there yet.  I’d still call it a crush.  He wants to be close to her, and he gets jealous when the others get to spend alone time with her.  He thinks she’s fun, and he considers her one of his best friends – that he wants to go on another date with!  

Sans knows that what he feels is more than just a crush, but he still isn’t sure if it’s definite love–it’s not a word he’ll ever use lightly.  But he also doesn’t kiss just anyone, either.  She’s special to him.

Papyrus definitely wants to date her and be her bonefriend.  He loves her, yes, but I still wouldn’t call it a deep, romantic love.  She’s his best friend – that he has a crush on!  

Crooks also wants to date her.  He’s realized she’s more than just a special, nice human to him.  After their date, he’s found himself wanting to spend more and more time with her.   There’s a whole lot of love there – but it still hasn’t reached the point of romantic love.

Blackberry’s feelings have changed to something that was difficult for him to understand.  At first, he just wanted her because the others seemed to, but lately… he’s found himself wanting her to be his – and not just from a bratty monopolizing standpoint.  He enjoys her company and actually cares about what she thinks of him – to the point that he tricked her into going into that hot spring with him in an effort to get closer to her/discover how she felt about him.  His feelings aren’t love yet, but they’re close.

Edge is in love.  He’s actively trying to be better, even though he still manages to butt heads with the Lady.  He values her opinion of him, and he’s been overcome with the urge to kiss her ever since he woke up with her tangled in his arms.  It’s a new feeling for him, one that’s been steadily building the more time he spends with her, and he finally got the resolve he needed to make a move.  Encouraged by her enthusiastic response, he’s only fallen deeper for her.

Is there anyway I would be allowed to be able to uh, make a fanfiction where the LandLady from SSLL is shipped with the reader?

Like, I dunno, Reader/LandLady or LandLady X Reader Fic?

And um, if I may ask.. If the LandLady has any names other than ‘LandLady’?

But to answer your question -- YES, YES, YES, PLEASE.  I would absolutely love to read a fic about the Reader being shipped with the Landlady.   If you do write it, send a link my way because I wanna read that so bad.  I might even write something to go with it.  =D

As for her name... Yeah, it’s a tricky thing to get around since she’s supposed to have the name of whomever’s reading it, but I’d recommend doing something like She tells you her name, but then grins and shrugs.  “But you can call me the Landlady or Lady.  It’s a nickname my friends have given me that’s kinda stuck.  I’ve been the landlady of a lodge for a while now, and it’s become a part of who I am.”

Don't worry, hun! SSLL is actually going to have a ton of endings, and you get to pick which one you'd personally do as your canon ending.

@esuerc   First of all, congrats on the cancer results coming back negative!!  That’s such fantastic news, and I’m so glad to here you’ve been in remission for nearly 3 years!  =D  I’m so stoked that my update could help add some icing to what sounds like an amazing day!  And I’m so excited that you’re enjoying the story, and still reading it after the sporadic random hiatuses.

Allllsoooo, I just wanna say that I looked through your blog, and holy shit.  Your art is amazing, and you’re a Fallout fan, too?!  Are you still selling the Undertale stickers by chance?  Because I don’t have a Twitter, but I’d love to buy some of those!  <3

Absolutely!  I’m always down for ideas, and even when SSLL wraps up, I’ll still be happy to do bonus chapters.  Heck, I’d be down to do bonus chapters about what happens after specific endings.  And you guys know I’m always down for smut. ;D  Speaking of which, since it’s officially October 1st, I’m going to try to crank out some more Kinktober chapters and finally finish that fic up!

You have no idea how much this message means to me.  <3  Really, I admire you for hanging in there despite everything, and I’m so happy to hear that you’re feeling better!!  Thank you for reading my fics, and taking the time to send me this wonderful ask.  =D

Most of them are actually ones I make up, but I’ve also googled them, too!  I’ve spent so long writing Sans-personalities that I pun all the time in-person -- and usually get just as many disappointed groans.  

Like, I recently bought some shoes for work that have dogs all over them.  I’ve made so many “my dogs are barking” jokes, and my coworkers aren’t amused.

Okay, this?  I love this.  Well done!

This is a good question!  I’m going to break them into three groups. 

Would still flirt with/pursue her: Red, Blueberry, Blackberry, Axe

Red’s definitely still going to flirt.  It won’t be as serious until he gets to know her and actually develop feelings, of course, but once he does... He won’t really care.  He’d feel guilty if the dude came to visit and he had to see him face-to-face, but he’d still try to pursue her.

The same goes for Blueberry.  He gets crushes easily, and while he’d be upset that she has a boyfriend and try to rein it in, he’d ultimately end up pursuing her anyway because she’s so kind toward him.  I think Stretch would have to have a talk with Blueberry about it, and the guilt would ultimately make him step back.

Blackberry really wouldn’t care either way.  He denies his feelings all the same, but when it comes down to it, her being in a relationship already wouldn’t matter to him.  

Axe is similar this way.  He’d make a few snide comments, but it wouldn’t change anything he did.  He’d announce his feelings just the same and still try to show her that he’s serious.

Would get a crush and pine, but wouldn’t flirt/pursue: Edge, Crooks

Edge already has issues flirting, so if he knows she’s talking to someone she says she’s in love with, he’s not going to flirt or make a move.  He will, however, ultimately have the same feelings for her.  He’ll just push them down deeper.

Crooks is the same way.  He’ll still get the same feelings because she treats him and Axe differently than the others have, but he’ll take more of a friend role.

Would respect it and just be friends:  Sans, Papyrus, Stretch

When they learn that she’s got a boyfriend that she’s on good terms with, all three of them keep their feelings in check and just want to be best friends.  Sans wouldn’t cross that line, nor would Papyrus.  Stretch would be more liable to start to get a crush, but he’s definitely content just being best friends and chilling, so he’d never let it show.
