One of our finest actors, with a deep Scottish accent and a real screen presence. He's a definite in my top 20.
More brutal than handsome, I tend not to watch him in things like Highlander or Game of Thrones, though he looks good in both. They're just not my kind of thing.
As McCall in Shetland or Harry Woods in SS-GB, he excels, even if he's not the main event.
