I made a new edit, I have an obsession with Metal Cardbot right now...

“Damn, I don’t think I realized how much they’d hurt,” Nick grumbles, mostly to himself as he lays down on the bed. He's heard other mothers talk about how much weaning the baby off can hurt, but he always kind of thought it was more about losing that bond. Not once did he think about the swelling being worse than the pain of Shane teething while feeding or even about the annoyance of how much more frequently he'd leak- which, luckily, was usually covered up by his work vest anyway.

With a soft sigh, he turns his gaze up to the other. Despite the seriousness in his expression, he jokingly states, "I'm quitting my job and becoming a wet nurse. Shane's gonna be off of this soon and I gotta get this outta me."
