Savannard reporting the mission failure after Flame Nova addressed him by his old name (Saber Knight) was like a further liberation.
His past life had been like a curse and a haunting nightmare, but now neither Star Guardian nor his old life meant nothing to him. Savannard now has a goal and something he loves to protect (Tachi, this world).
Flame Nova’s response, saying “Do whatever you want,”was tantamount to acknowledging that from now on, they were independent of each other and that titles were no longer a factor.
At least I hope Flame Nova gets to start a new life as well after being branded a traitor and his dignity also his reputation was destroyed by Deus Machina into pieces.
