Oh god you asked a haaaard one…you of all people KNOW i have way too many songs in another language I can choose. That opera shit…

I’m going to go with “Die Nacht” by Strauss. It’s a Lieder I’m working on right now.

Here’s the translation and I just…I love this poem so fucking much. But it’s hard to find a German song I DON’T love. I fucking love German Lieder/opera the most of any language I sing in. Even over language.

VICKI HOW!!! Ughhhh in no particular order

1. “Pierce Me” - Trent’s a bit of a dick lmfao but we love him

2. “Monster” - gotta love the Quinn depth

3. “Daria!” - I’m a sucker for a musical lmfao and you know this is one I could literally recite from beginning to end

4. “Lane Miserables” - this would make the top five alone for the squeak Daria makes when her mom invites Trent to stay over lol

5. “Write Where It Hurts” - it’s such a great episode and I just love how she imagines her and her family’s future and I’m basically Helen when I see that every time ugH. And, of course, the story of Jane running off with Kevin lmfao

Honorable Mentions: the whole damn series really buuuuut “Through a Lens Darkly” and “Boxing Daria” are SO GOOD!!! Also “Aunt Naseum” (ever think about how we were literally Daria and Quinn in that during a lot of family gatherings?), “Speedtrapped”, “Lucky Strike”, and “One J at a Time”
