Anyways, here he is!

I’m pretty impartial to squid as a character since he never really caught my eye, but it always surprises me that he has like TONS of fans. That being said, I’m sure you guys know him a little better than me and I hope this redesign captures his essence how it should. I wanted to make his design a little more on-the-nose, since it isn’t often that I get to do this with animal name characters! I’m sure you guys can tell Squid’s redesign is very squiddy, whether that be through the scale patterns or literal squid hat he’s wearing. I didn’t think about how that hat would be made or what it really is, so I’ll leave it up to viewer discretion.

I’m so glad to be back and redesigning! Artfight this year was CRAZY close, like seriously there were times where I could submit an attack and see the percentage change right away. I finished the month with just over 4K and about 50 attacks, which definitely surpassed my goal of 15. As for this account, everything will be back to normal with weekend redesigns and WoF culture posting. I plan on doing a little bulletin announcement to properly start the account back up later, so expect that!
