I'm gonna be honest, this year was bittersweet. Phoenix Comicon was like home. Phoenix Comic Fest was not. Consolidation out of the Hyatt, locking down the con behind fences, ending the car show, isolating the gaming, and adding so much corporate presence felt alienating. It felt like a string of daytime excursions more than the Burning Man of Comicons. But I still had a great time with my friends and family. We went out and made smiles together, and at the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
My mum woke me up an hour early this morning to talk about the square egg thing that happened I don't know why she was so excited but her face was lit up and I'm not complaining
