The Derecho is still going strong as it passes Chicago, this storm will effect over 13 million people in the Midwestern United States.
Wind speeds along the leading edge have reached 100/mph which is equivalent to an EF1 tornado, under the anvil is not that much better either as winds are still gusting at 60/mph.
