TFA Springer: attempt 2

The Autobots investigation into Triple Changers never really went away so much as the funding for it was redirected (Aerialbot Program). Still, that didn't deter the remaining researchers from snatching up the battered cyber ninja as their next experiment volunteer.

Springer's operation went pretty smoothly and is widely considered successful, it's just the recovery that's being a problem.

The doctors in charge of the program refuse to acknowledge the psychological effects of the operation. They just keep telling him his disorientation is just in his head, and that he just needs focus on getting used to his new frame.

Meditation helps, sort of. Training's better and helps blow off some steam but that makes the doctors nervous and break out the sedatives/EMP guns, and waking up from that is so much worse.

After an altercation with Pharma during an examination, Springer is put in induced-stasis for another attempt at reprogramming at a later date. He currently resides in the same facility Arcee is/was being kept.

Did Springer agree to this? Technically yes, but he was also freshly torn in two when he signed the documents giving them his consent so...

TFA Springer Pre-OP/Past Cybertronian Mode

Apparently DJW already had sketched out his ideas for canon Springer but I'd already finished this design by the time I'd found out he had instagram so *shrugs*

I pulled from Yoketron and Swindle, as well as from some of the other "older" bots designs more than his og G1 design because I'd leaned more into that with his Triple-Changer design.

I'll probably tweak it and integrate a bit more of DJW's design- paricularly the hands and shoulder pieces but overall I think he looks nice- especially since I saw this fun theory regarding the Combaticons and Triple Changers in the animated-verse. >:)

Post operation anyways- before he would have shared Swindle's frame type i believe? I will properly draw his alt modes LATER but I'll be heavily referencing his og models so *shrugs*

Might adjust these, but so far his faces (personalities? masks?) his put together, laid back leader base, his competitive "warface". and his snarky bastard/ "humor is my coping mechanism" face.

While Springer's processor still suffered the consequences of the Triple Changer Operation, he is more stable than say Blitzwing between his mentors and extensive training with Cyber Ninja Corps.

When Lancer founds out what happened to her boy and that he "willingly" signed up for Perceptor's attempt to recreate her experiment she will be raising hell.
