Being not only a lore and fashion enjoyer in Infinikki but also a very bad stats and strategy enjoyer...Sea of Stars (outfit) is just insulting in that area too?
Going by Wishful Aurosa and Silvergale's Aria, I would have assumed Miracle Outfits would always work like this:
Worse stats than all full 5 star gacha sets (including Distant Sea sets)
But best full set pure attribute scores among free sets
This would ensure a general tier list of full sets that goes like this (I an speaking very generally, this game does not lend well to tier lists due to the way styling challenges are scored):
Gacha 5* Sets
Miracle Outfits
Gacha 4* Sets / Premium 4* Sets
Free 4* Sets
Premium 3* Sets / Free 3* Sets
Everything else
For whatever reason they kept Sea of Stars to 7 pieces, which is whatever, not a big deal, but as a whole this makes the full set score lower than 4* gacha sets and even some free ones (one of the Heartfelt Gifts 4* is better than it)
But the weirdest thing is that...the individual pieces just plain score lower?
Speaking purely about the main Sexy stat, the dress from the 4* gacha set Dreamy Glimmer is around 300 points better than Star Sea dress
...and the standalone free 5* dress from Surprise-o-Matic, Snowy Dawn, is 500 points better than Star Sea dress.
This means that if I were to make a new account right now with the goal of clearing challenges while avoiding the gacha completely (including Distant Sea), I would just have to get lucky and pull Snowy Dawn and I'd be set for a Sexy dress. Wouldn't have to craft Star Sea at all unless I met a "full Sexy outfit" challenge that Starwish Echoes or Searching for Dreams couldn't clear.
What the hell did they do to Star Sea
