I think it would have been interesting if they kept Double Trouble, Glimmer's cousin and still have their looks. In the old She-Ra, Double Trouble was a double agent for the Princess Alliance. I think they could have kept SPOP Double Trouble's look and still made them still on the good guy side. They could have have either been Castapella's child or related to Angella in some way like how the original Double Trouble was the niece of Angella.
this definitely would've been a lot more cohesive and interesting for DT, yeah.
although DT's design is...eh, it's not the worst, so it's fine.

Making an au is hard, designing new verisons of characters is ways harder. DT has always been one of my favorites, and I added some things to their own desing, I oicture them like a chameleon due to their shapeshifting abilities.

Summon the reptilian ghost with the most if you dare, but remember to put them back, and pay them well for their services! If you don’t, well...let’s just say you won’t live long enough to regret it.
DT and Betelgeuse are both so chaotic and just like to cause problems, so I can imagine them getting along. Of course, DT’s more of a suave, manipulative type, and Betelgeuse is a bit more on the zany side and has a certain...perviness to him. Nonetheless, scamming people into letting them out to cause mayhem and all sorts of trouble is something our DT can roll with.
I got bored, so I drew DT looking bored. Also, shoutout to the bisexual pride flag for inspiring the background colors.

Aaaaahh I can’t believe I forgot to show you guys my DT enamel pin in my DT collection posts! I’ve let DT down 😔
Anyway, it’s a very cute pin, and I love it. Here’s the shirt it’s on for size reference (the shirt was completely plain before I got my little goth paws on it). Please ignore the cat fur, lol.

All of the images were edits I made, except for one, which is a drawing I did. You’ll probably recognize some of them as profile pics that I’ve made, as well as my own and my header.
The glue is a little visible in some places, so I’m going to see what I can do about that for future glass cabochon ventures.
When you don’t know what to draw, just draw DT in a new outfit--in this case, with a color palette challenge (I used “Held” and added gray for the metallic parts).
