"What could you possibly have been thinking about that took your mind off of my story?" He poked the other right in the nose. "Maybe I'll allow the 'zoning out' if the answer is satisfactory."

“Overruled. They are father’s possessions just as you are. Now welcome them to the family, third youngest.”

They looked perfectly golden.

“Nothing but....there’s something I want to know.” Will didn’t want to assume or accuse anyone of anything. But he has to know. “Are you the one involved in the demon attacks in this area? If you are, I would like to know. If not, I will apologize and go on my way.” He stated this politely. “I do not like to assume things, sir but I don’t sense any demons right now but you.”

The other man was a relative, that much was obvious to Rin... but he couldn’t figure out which one, or why he had come here. Was it to get a good look at one of his younger brothers? Or did he want something from Rin? The half-demon simply stared at him from his spot halfway behind a wall, brows furrowed in thought.

“Leave my fiance alone or I’m melting you all alive down to sentient paste to feed my plants.”
