HOKAAAAYYYYY YO WADDUP CHEGGIT OUT!!! Tumblr isn't the usual platform where I post TwoSet Violin content, but we're celebrating twelve years of their YouTube channel today!! Raced to make a compilation video before the day came—and by golly I am going to share it, BECAUSE THIS WAS A CRUNCH AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After being a normal person, combing through TwoSet Violin's 1,400+ YouTube channel videos and chronicling an exhaustive list of every time they said, approximately, "Welcome to another episode of TwoSet Violin," I created this compilation showing, on average, one clip per month.
I apologize for any roughness in the edit—I did this in a week, which is not a week-long sort of project. But it was fun to do and reflect on the memories that TwoSet Violin has brought. They've been a major inspiration for me refinding the spark of life again and the determination to return to music.
So grateful every time I get to hear, "Welcome to another episode of TwoSet Violin."
And if you're a music-inclined weirdo like myself, go check out other TwoSetters' projects for #12YearsOfTwoSet across socials!!!!!
EDDY CHEN OF TWOSET VIOLIN IS ENGAGED?????????
Bach: Don't Settle for Less
Beethoven: Music Transcends Earthly Troubles
Tchaikovsky: I Long For True Intimacy
Shostakovich: Fuck The Government
Mozart: Eat Shit, Losers
Twoset quits? Just like that? After a wildly successful world tour? Well fugue. I hadn't seen all of their recent videos, I didn't know I should've hurried because now most of their videos are gone. I guess I won't be seeing them now. 😭
At least TwoSet Talks seems to still be intact. The episodes are so long, I haven't gotten to listening to them all, please don't delete those as well!
Edit: TwoSet Apparel is going, too.

^^here is a link to Twoset Violin's short film Fantasia
i am so confused and concerned about everything on twoset accounts today and i am absolutely fucking astonished that the vast vast majority of their videos are currently privated/hidden
anyhow i had downloaded some videos a few weeks ago for my video edit and i know fantasia is a well-loved one so i just want to post the link to it here (to my google drive, no it's not under my real name) just in case it doesn't get put back the way it was
as for the other videos, man it is honestly not a lot if i had known i would've saved as many as i possibly could, but if their account doesn't go back to normal i'll find some way to share them (probably either google drive or maybe just even on youtube)
hello TwoSetters!
I've made a Google Drive saving shortcuts of TwoSetViolin videos/images from TwoSetters on Twitter/X.
I'm continuously sorting through the files. let me know if there are any other (Google Drive) files/folders I haven't added yet :D
RIP twoset violin, thanks so much for all the memories over the years.
I found in a difficult time in my life, when I was struggling to find who I was and learn to accept and be myself.
You guys helped bring me out of my shell, get through music theory (lol), lockdown, helped me build connections with my friends and developed my passion for music.
if it wasn’t for you guys, I probably would have given up on music in my early teens. I would’ve quit violin years ago. I wouldn’t have chosen to make music my life and study it. I wouldn’t have decided I want to make a career out of it one day.
But I did. I still play violin and piano, I now have joined choirs and ensembles, I’m involved in a masterclass programme at a really good nearby uni, I’ve started writing my own music, theory finally makes sense(!!!), I have made some of my best friends through music, and I have such a burning passion for music it sometimes consumes me.
So thank you for everything. For being there, for teaching us about music, making classical music accessible for everyone, for the laughs, for the inspiration.
I wish you two all the best for your futures, whether you continue violining together or not.
please, put your videos back though, they mean so much to us ling ling wannabes and it’s really sad if we have to see them go.
