Jaemin : shows his affection mostly through words. He likes to reassure you when you doubt something or compliment you if you’re feeling down or insecure.

I feel like his compliments wouldn’t just be something like ‘you have pretty eyes’ or ‘you’re really beautiful’ he would full on come up with the most creative compliment ever mostly about things he knows you’re insecure about.

Jeno : remembering tiny details, he would remember things you wouldn’t even remember about yourself. Like for example your coffee order, your fav snacks, flowers, series,….

And when u point it out he gets all shy and denies it.☺️

Renjun : emotional care, he takes care of u by always texting or asking u if you ate or if you’re doing okay.

And once u don’t answer he’ll lose it and probably will show up infront of your door knocking like his life depends on it.

Haechan : attention/teasing. He for sure ALWAYS wants all of your attention on him and the second your attention shifts to something else or someone else he’ll get all sulky saying you don’t love him anymore. And ofc since we’re talking about haechan he LOVES teasing you.

It makes his day and it’s probably the only thing that can put a smile on his face after a long day.

Chenle : quality time, spending lots of time with you even if it’s doing something like washing the dishes or laying in bed together scrolling away on your phones makes him feel at home it’s like doing things together no matter what it is just makes it better according to him

Also Chenle would also be a huge tease but he won’t stop until you’re on the verge of tears😒

Jisung : shy physical affection, when i tell you he’s the shyest when you touch him or when he has to touch you but it’s soooo cute like he will LOVE physical affection but is too shy to ask for it. But you both obviously build it up throughout your relationship

you will probably start with leaning on each other’s shoulders then hand holding finally small hug and so on…

This post will be tackling life cycle and Markings. Wowwie!

First, here is a rough dreamie life cycle.

If you can't read the text in the image then I'll give a summary; All dreamies start as eggs. Similar to a snake or sea turtle egg, they have soft leathery shells and spend 3 months in the mother until they are ready to be laid. The egg then will spend another 6 mouths outside the body before hatching.

Dreamie Moms are frantically protective over their small broods and only trusted mothers are allowed to get close during this time.

Once a Dreamie hatches, their skin is delicate and fragile. Dependent on the mother for energy from their Stars. Claw caps are normal in this stage. As a Dreamie hits 2 years old, they begin moving around more; they sleep less, and scales start to harden. And by the time they are 3, most Dreamie pups are running around causing havoc and chaos--they are very impressionable until they are within reach of the MOLT!

What is the MOLT?

As in the image, When a Dreamie pup is between 11 to 13 years old--the Molt will happen. Molts are when they come into their adult coloration and are considered as 'adults' by society--although its normal for Dreamie pups to stick around until they feel ready to go off on their own.

Pups will find a place to molt in (usually a designated molting area or hidden cove) and the process can last between 3 hours to 3 weeks. After the molt is done, then the full coloration and Markings will appear.

Markings can be whatever but they do follow a theme---

Elemental Marks are tied to emotions or significant events, although this isn't a hard rule.

Abstract Markings are not considerable desirable due to their ambiguity but they carry the most potential.

Hereditary Markings are usually 'passed' down or similar to their family members; very true for the Nobility and long standing Knight families.

Some Colors may also be preferred over others. Like Verdant greens or Lake blues or Weaver gold or Passion vermilion are considered colors of great favor. Monochromatic or deep Nightmare violet are markers of a terrible tidings.

Now this is our base Dreamie. No hair, no cloths or marks---the shape of a dreamie is relatively unchanged. Ears, height, color and muscularity and molt based qualities differentiates dreamies from each other.

Despite being inhabitants of fundamentally non corporal world, their inhabitants have internal structures. Above, you will see the skeletal structure of a Dreamie.

Bones are black in color and can take more mechanical force. While this may prevent them from fracturing less, if a Dreamie does suffer from a broken bone, its much harder to set and usually results in the healed bone being more fragile than normal. Severe cases may result in a limb being amputated or permanently disabled.

With a skeleton, comes all the fleshy insides! Yes, Dreamies do have organs and all the lovely problems that may or may not inflict them. Dreamies have large lung capacity, enabling them to perform greater feats of strength for a creature their size.

In addition, Dreamies do not have a ear canal, instead they have a sensory organ that handles hearing, balance, scent detection and energy dispersion. The drawing above is labeled where each organ is situated and also male/female reproductive organs.

But you may have noted something with a Dreamies' Heart---

Above, The Heart of a Dreamie is where their soul and life lie; their dream made manifest. Unlike any part of a Dreamie, the Heart is tied to their star point at the tip of their tail---both as a indicator of health but can serve as a small hammer space for a very special object (More on that later).

This part of their body will determine what 'color' their internals are. When a dreamie dies, this color ceases and the body turns clear. Like a squid.

This doesn't mean Dreamies are not without blood though. The blood of a Dreamie will always be magenta and serve as a 'barrier' between the base color and the outside. This barrier is necessary to carry dream energy and whatever is in their atmosphere--is it oxygen? Is it ammonia? Don't ask me--through their body. It also helps facilitate healing but only to a point.

If a wound gets pass the barrier and into the 'jelly' of the Dreamie, the scar will not heal. It is, for all intense and purposes, an open wound. Instead the area will harden to prevent infection or foreign bodies so thin areas like the 'hair' will never grow back. They are stuck with whatever hair style they are given, including facial hair.

First, Here is a Dreamie---

Dreamies are the inhabitants of Remil, the Dreaming Realm. Dreamies come in all kinds of colors and sizes with patterns along the tails as adults. (More on that in a later post.)

They value valor, great deeds and adventure---many dream being a Knight but very few have the chance or the placement in society to achieve such a coveted position. Instead they will become hunters, craftsmen or other such jobs---most inherited from established families or lords--- to achieve respect and legacy among communities.

Most Dreamies have large communities, consisting of fortified barracks and stone walls. Many protected by the lucky crew who do become Knights. How does one become a Knight? What are the tasks of a Knight? More on that later.

Many of the settlements are ruled by a group of Nobles or a singular Knight Lord. What is a Knight Lord? Well, I'll talk about those in depth when we get to them.

The Dreamies are based off of Arthurian legend along with references to other European text such as Canterbury Tales and Beowulf.
