I'd like to see something about a different kind of mythical creatures, the bird-like ones maybe? With the Mothman, Thunderbird, Phoenix, there is plenty to explore. Although the whole "turning someone into a new member of the flock" would be more difficult to integrate then.

Hmm... Phoenix could be cool. Might actually work with one of the ideas im playing with. 

Here are my ideas: 

1) Jack Mason is an ABERRANT with a TRAGIC PAST. What is an Aberrant? It’s a Thing I Made Up. It means someone SUPERNATURAL. Like Wesen from Grimm. Different types. Some are born and some are made, but its a crap shoot what you’re gonna get. Jack Mason runs into a DYING Evan Bloom and TURNS HIM, because damn Evan is pretty. Unfortunately he is also a LITTLE BITCH and Jack immediately regrets turning him. They bicker. A love story is born. 

2) Jack Mason is a VAMPIRE (or werewolf or some third other thing) with a TRAGIC PAST. He runs an AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM (not really) for SUPERNATURAL TEENS (who consist of werewolves, vampires, witches, whatevers). He runs into a DEAD Evan Bloom. Evan Bloom then UNDIES. This is where the phoenix thing could work. Does anyone else like the name The Mysteriously Undying Evan Bloom? It’s growing on me. 

things to note. Jack Mason will be 21, Evan Bloom will be 18. Everyone else who appears in the TMC will be there, except Isaac who serves no purpose. Poor Isaac. I might shove him and Scott into one character.
