Walnut-coffee sponge roll as the 12th bake from the 2016 Great British baking show home recipe book. The sponge was easy to make, except to grind the walnut to flour, as the cake was gluten free, you have to make your own from walnut pieces. In the Vitamix we had it already started to get buttery, but still had chunks, so we had to scrape after every little whizz. The rolling up was easy based on the description and cut in. I loved the sponge itself, it was light and nutty, but it was overly sweet filled with the coffee icing, the other family members loved it though.
