Are we ever going to talk about what Cas went through after 7x17, when he came face to face with the repressed memories of playing God? Or when he took on Sam’s nightmares and the horror of the Cage?

Later, all of Cas’s struggles got reduced to “he went crazy,” but it’s obvious what really happened: he was overloaded. His whole system crashed — from basic communication to even being able to use his angelic powers.

The bee jokes and the “pull my finger” memes might look funny, but they erase the truth: Cas was carrying guilt, shame, and the unbearable task of trying to hold inside his mind the weight of what he had done. ________________________
