🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

Jounouchi. There's such a diversity of ways you can write him based on which of his characteristic(s) you want to emphasize. I never get tired of writing him or being inside his head.

🍦 What’s the sweetest fic you’ve created so far?

I was gonna say it's Sweet requests, but there's actually a little bitter in there too. So after scrolling through my AO3, it's probably actually Romance ain't dead yet, which was written as a fill for my Warm & Fluffy bingo card.

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): wolf

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): kipo

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?* 

Back in my younger years I ENJOYED THAT ECHIZEN NEVER LOST. But later on I realize that that kid never learned the meaning of true defeat in an official match. When tezuka defeated him the first time… the only thing wounded was his pride. Even if that event spurred his growth.. he never really suffered true loss.

I used to like how the anime pandered to Perfect Pair but I get miffed about it nowadays. Like there’s a boundary between an ‘alright’ amount to a ‘too much’ amount.. especially because I know that the whole perfect pair thing was intentional as fuck. (of course, as a shipper, i basked in that for quite a while, but now I usually just raise my brows at it haha.)

20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?

RYOMA X KINTAROU - echizen is a little sht and kintarou is smol monster but gdamn they are both 12 and they like each other. well kintarou ADORES ryoma…  oh man.. and they hang out like kids do with no ulterior motives just tennis tennis ice cream tennis IS THERE ANYTHING PURER THAN THIS GOD BLESS

22. Popular character you hate?

TEZUKA. TEZUKA. TEZUKA. Don’t get me wrong.. I’ve talked to so many people about this - from tezuka lovers to tezuka critics AND YET I COULDNT FIND IT IN MY HEART TO JUSTIFY MOST OF THE THINGS HE DID. I know he’s in middle school and i know that with the puberty and hormonal imbalance and honor and that stupid burden that yamato left him, middle school boyas like him will always, always go to the extremes BUT TEZUKA is a different dude altogether. 

I don’t know where he gets his morals but while he knows how to keep a leash on his otherwise wayward teammates and can inspire loyalty from the most freedom loving souls, he is a scheming, careless jerk who will do anything, can do anything in order to get what he wants. 

Unlike rikkaidai where everything is laid out in the open.. Tezuka is more dangerous  because he decides things for himself, doesn’t tell anyone anything at all, keeps a multitude of secrets, just bears everything by himself and leaves the show 80% of the time while others pick up sht from the pieces he leaves behind. 

There are people who reason out that he’s probably awkward and he has his reasons but DUDE…dude.. for goodness sake, tezuka my boy, listen to what people are telling you. People say that he makes the Best Decisions Ever™. and I’m HAHAHA FUCK.

(I still do. but I gotta say, my love for YOI plummeted after the show ended =\ love the show, but the fandom around it is so ugh)

i’ve literally been waiting my whole life for a psychological thriller such as this. like damn, i’m so fucking impressed by it. there’s other stories that have been told about the kidnapper/kidnappee but they just don’t touch KS. for example, i love how yoon bum isn’t innocent in this, like dude broke into his crush’s place and persistently stalks him and we only sympathize with him because we as an audience knows what’s going to happen to him.

don’t even get me started on sangwoo...

holy hell, what a complex, thought provoking character. these are the types of villains i adore and love most. he’s fucking batshit insane and i love it. doesn’t help that he’s also gorgeous and charming, even when he’s doing fucked up things. i also like how sangwoo has a “weak spot” for yoon bum. like, the dude will never love him or greatly care about his well being (he’s a psychopath, it’s impossible for him), but he’s still becoming highly possessive over him while yoon bum is still trying to find ways to escape.
