I COME WITH REF AND LORE FOR MA BOI SPLATTER
For starters, Splatter never tore apart his soul because he never had one to begin with. He was taken from his au by a deity known as The Vessel and using his body a new god was created. The god of creation, alongside another known as Virus, the god of destruction. These two exist in balance and follow the will of The Vessel, the Vessel follows the will of the creators. (can canonically break the 4th wall) Outside of work though Splatter is well.. an Ink au. Hella airheaded and absolutely loves all kinds of art, but on the flip side of that he's extremely morally gray and actually lets certain aua die on purpose for the sake of collecting the soul fragments from the dust so he can pretend to have a soul of his own, his vials act like more of a binder than artificial emotions.
He works with the Star Sanses but it's more out of obligation than to help others. The crew doesn't actually get along that well, but Ranger and Splatter are on pretty decent terms with each other.
