How I feel about this character

hm! i think that hes one of the characters i feel more neutral towards, likely due to the fact that he’s only in the game for like... 3 days, but i do still like him more than not!! likely due to how like... caring he is towards clara in her route? like he doesnt seem to want her for anything he just. Cares for her and wants to protect her. which is just really really nice!!!! 

outside of her route, um... i genuinely dont ever think about him. i honestly am just like “oh damn, military’s here, that means more shit i have to deal with” rather than anything else. tho i think him just disappearing for a day for some unknown reason is pretty iconic, tbh! also him just fucking off without doing anything to resolve the towns issue in p2 is so funny to me 

All the people I ship romantically with this character

oh, uh! really no one. this more or less comes down to the fact that i dont really ship people often, and i never think about ships unless someone else does. like the only ship ive really heard about him with is with daniil, which doesnt quite interest me, and neither does any other possibility, so ! i guess no one. rip. 

My non-romantic OTP for this character (im just interpreting this as other relationships i find interesting)

oh, like i’ve said: clara! how caring he seems to be towards her without really wanting anything in return is very, very sweet (take note, saburovs)!! plus, how much she seems to trust him is very nice.

also, hm... his potential dynamic with capella is interesting to me! this one comes more from one of the mafia games we played where i was capella and emmett played block and we were sort of stuck in a room together and it turned out to be just... really interesting! it comes down to his sense of duty (which capella could relate to) and his care for children. idk, its just! its a very interesting dynamic to think about to me! 

also, i think that niru brought this one up once which is why i could see it being interesting, but his dynamic with artemiy -- the artemiy that served in the war, i mean. niru said something along the lines of the two of them bonding over hating the military, lol. idk, even if its more of artemiy just being a rude asshole to block that would be very fun dshjkghd 

My unpopular opinion about this character

im trying not to do the cop out answer of “um i think about him is that enough” because truly i think about him much less than i think quite a few people do.... buuuuut i dont know other people’s opinions well enough, so im going to go with “i like him for clara route reasons” as my unpopular opinion. or, well, wait maybe not really caring for his p2 english voice also being daniil might be another unpopular opinion. like it just doesnt bother me ghdsjkg 

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

i refrained myself from saying this anywhere else but its obvious what im going to say: im excited to see more of his relationship with clara in her p2 route! its obviously rushed in her p1 route, as those last 4 days where he comes in are the ones where you can really feel the fact that they mightve not had enough time to do all they wanted. so, im really excited to see what they might do, and what will be expanded upon! though i am constantly holding a knife up to fans and even ipl for what might happen with this dynamic as well.

Nocturnal; least favourite character?

oh boy...this is bound to open up a whole can of worms because with the exception of the vlads, each patho character has a staunch defender.

i don’t like how patho2 did aglaya or block. i liked them a lot better in classic. i don’t dislike them in 2, but i felt like a lot of their characterization disintegrated. 

for classic... i’m kicking a hornet’s nest here but saburov, and though she’s funny, the stuff aspity says about women in bachelor’s route is honestly kind of disgusting. i never see anyone talk about it, and granted i think she’s still kind of funny, but...

and then obviously i hate vlad sr, especially in classic, but he’s just easy pickings at this point.

plague awake here. higher than the sky, which even without knowing the name made me think of my agoraphobia. disappearing. darkness, though, is probably my favorite of them all... it sets the scene very well.

I've split my head open twice in my life. One time, i fell through a window well that my dad had not properly covered, and I was stuck down there and I actually vaguely have this first person memory of it and it was terrifying. The other time i was jumping up and down on the couch and didn't land properly, fell off and split my head open on the sharp end of the coffee table. That memory I have in third person.
