i could make so many deep meaningful heart-wrenching posts about sparatus and his wife as sun/moon dynamic and other such things if i wanted to actually be serious for a minute but that's a lot of words so on top of all the very serious and heartfelt ways they feel about each other and work together they are also just sparky (quiet, shy, tired) holding his wife (chaos incarnate) under the arms like a teddy bear so she doesn't run off and immediately insert herself into the nearest Problem, while she sits there going :3 and accepts kisses and nuzzles as a bribe to not slither out of his grasp anyway. she would win three space pulitzers for whatever she wrote on said nearest problem, she's a very good investigative journalist, but she also loves kisses and her husband's strong arms and calloused hands so it's okay she'll get them on the next one.
i love adding extra character detail in my work to make the characters 3d so obviously there’s a lot in broken mirror and i can’t remember all of them but i definitely think “councilor sparatus failed economics twice when he was in uni and one of those was because he was too busy mooning over the pretty girl in his study group who he eventually married” is one of the top best ones i threw in there

also in important oc updates ive adjusted sparkyteia's timeline so they actually meet in mandatory in their mid-twenties when they're both non-lifer track and studying for their degrees, to better fit the slow burn mutual pining 💜 they were in separate study groups that met at the same time in the uni campus library and slowly merged over mutual gen eds and general turian social instincts!
thinking abt teia calling sparky to see what he wants from the store before she goes home after work and he says he might have to stay late but promises to be home for dinner and everything’s fine and then sovereign attacks and she’s so distraught all she can focus on is that promise to be home for dinner that’s being broken 😭😭😭
fun fact teia originally began as an oc for the “turian councilor’s mistress” throwaway line in lotsb and then i got invested in their relationship and i couldn't not let them be married and in love 😭😭😭
