Hello Saku!
hope you are doing well so far.
Here are my questions:
-From the last audio the Earis was injured from one of those spikes, how big were they and where did they hit the Earis?
-How big was the creature? and do you already know what it looks like?
Alright these were my questions, hope you have a great day :)
That I haven't specified yet.
I think at its base in terms of length and body mass, they would look something like this:
Spindlings can vary in height, but an average one is around 10ft tall, and it has a clubbed tail with sparse spikes on it.
Spin Together is a social, friendly competition of a week of spinning from Feb 22-March 1. Griffin Dyeworks hosts a team, and we welcome spinners of all skill levels and tool preference! We have daily virtual check ins and hopefully some in-person as well (Los Angeles and wherever we have multiple team members). It’s a great opportunity to meet spinners, ask and give advice, and dedicate a little time to spinning each day.
It’s $15 to join, and Griffin Dyeworks can cover that for you if needed, just message me. Learn more and sign up until Feb 15 at http://spintogether.org with Griffin Dyeworks Spinners!
Spin Together 2021 will take place beginning at noon wherever you are on October 2nd and ending at noon wherever you are on October 9th.

I have now made two little skeins of yarn! Both with the off-white fiber that came with my spindle. The second one is already noticeably better than the first, so I’ll have to get some #aesthetic pictures in some nice slanting sunlight, maybe draped over an old fence post or something...I’d use a cow’s ear, but they move around, and it’s muddy out here, so that’s too dangerous ;)
I’m starting now with some grey wool I bought at the downtown farmer’s market. It’s not as nice, I think, and it’s so different to work with! A good challenge, now that I’d gotten used to the first one. I can appreciate what a nice starting fiber that was.
This weekend is the Carolina Fiber Fest, and you bet your ass I’m going. Gotta buy some more roving for my new hobby, and feel all the nice yarns I can’t afford.
Taking another road trip. This time to NC. 😊
