Flambae realizes that, oh shit, he might actually lose, and instinctively uses his powers. In retaliation for the rule break, Robert later bites Flambae after he manages to get ahold of Robert.

Flambae: WTF

Robert: You broke the one rule I had for you. It was only fair.

Flambae, desperately hoping Robert thinks the flush on his face is from embarrassment, and not the growing problem in his gym shorts: …We have to add a no biting rule.

I started drawing something based on that a while back, but it’s still not finished because I am slower than a sloth on sedatives.

Anyway, Flambae is not having a good time, and Robert is trying very hard to remember that as he tries not to notice the effects the heat is having on him.

Steam rolls off of him, and his exposed skin is slick with sweat. His usually neatly groomed ponytail is disheveled from the humidity. He’s panting like crazy with eyes half-lidded and hazy from exhaustion.

Robert thought he had done a good job avoiding following the sweat trailing down his chest with his eyes, but his efforts falter when Flambae gets a little to eager to chug water on one of his breaks, and Robert stares as some of it drips down his neck and the open ‘V’ of his suit.

It takes every ounce of his resolve not to drag Flambae off somewhere to make him even more unkempt.

That resolve nearly cracks when he sees Flambae peeling off his suit in the locker room in preparation for a very cold shower. Robert’s neck nearly snaps from how hard he turns away to prevent himself from ogling. He assumes Flambae would not take kindly to that.

Robert, sleep deprived during a long overtime shift, is still clear headed enough to make the right calls, but his words get slightly jumbled from time to time. Thankfully, the team still tends to get the gist of what he’s saying.

After he accidentally tells Flambae “good boy” instead of “good job,” though, the chaos is immediate. The team starts their typical ribbing. Invisigal especially howls with laughter. Flambae, however, is silent, even as he bursts into flames where he stands.

Robert, his voice rough from use and exhaustion, calling him a good boy in the same tone he uses when congratulating a job well done? Flambae is going to be thinking of that for a long time. Mostly at night, in his bedroom, with his right hand wrapped around his cock.

Robert is sitting on Chad’s cock, but there’s nothing Chad can do about it. He can’t move, can’t touch. His limbs are bound with a thick, fireproof rope that rubs uncomfortably against his skin if he dares try to reach for Robert or buck into him. He can’t even beg. A gag muffles any sound save for the occasional whimper. His chin is slick with drool that the gag can’t quite hold back.

Chad is a wreck, but Robert? Robert’s reading a fucking book. His eyes barely leave the pages even as Chad writhes and keens under him. Chad’s cock twitches within him, stimulated yet neglected at the same time. Robert’s own erection weeps at the feeling, but his hips stay torturously still as he shushes Chad’s wordless pleas.

Anyway, Flambae doesn’t have this in game. I’ve got a little post-canon Mechabae scenario brewing in my head, though.

It’s canon that Flambae designed his own suit, and he’s definitely proud of his work, but he’s not immune to wanting to change things up a little and add a bit more flair. So, let’s say Flambae’s suit gets substantially damaged in a fight. It would take so much mending that Flambae might as well just make a whole other suit.

SDN’s been covering suit repair since he joined the Phoenix Program, and this time he brings a new design to the costume department. It’s almost identical to his previous design, but there is one key difference:

The tramp stamp.

It’s not a super big change, so it goes unnoticed by some people. Those who do notice don’t tend have much to say about it, and, if they do, they wouldn’t say it to Flambae’s face. Visi makes a remark when she sees it, though, and Prism compliments her bestie’s design choice.

Robert doesn’t say anything, but he definitely notices.

He may or may not have made a habit of stealing glances at Flambae. Especially his backside, though a bit more shamefully. So, when he spots the stamp, he nearly chokes on his coffee. Robert had perfected avoiding being caught by Flambae at that point, but he failed to account for being caught by other people in the office, namely, Prism.

Prism is tired of their shit already. Flambae keeps fumbling every opportunity via deflection and self-sabotage, and Robert seems to have taken that as a sign not to make a move. Therefore, she decides to take matters into her own hands by giving Robert a bit of a push.

“You know, he has an identical tattoo under the suit.”

I’ve been wanting to include something like this in my fics, but in my fics they’re usually to busy getting busy to interact with the general public in order for this misunderstanding to occur. Might include it in the jealous Robert fic I’ve been stewing on.
