It doesn't take long for the team to start noticing the newest ice shoveler. Normaly its a team of women shoveling the ice on the whistle break, and the few men only shovel the piles of ice gathered by the girls into buckets. So Peter stood out, while he wore pants unlike the short skirts of the girl's, his outfit was just as flashy.

Apparently he started out as an engineer fixing the zamboni, but someone caught his skating around on the ice and realized he had skills too. And a pretty face to match. It didn't take long before he was brought before Tony Stark, retired hockey player, owner of the Avengers Hockey team.

Natasha was the coach of the team, the first female coach in the NHL. She knew that Peter was just the type to help motivate the team. After she caught Bucky( alternate captain) staring at Peter while he was in the rink, she knew what she needed to be done.

Once Tony saw Peter, knew of his skills in engineering and his skating? Well, he wasn't going to say no to another pretty face on the ice. If the team warms up to him.... well, he wouldn't find it hard to give him another side job so he could be on the road with them too. Could always convince Peter to get a certificate in massage therapy.

Natasha only had to introduce Steve(Captain) and Sam( alternate captain) and when Peter blushed and gushed about how nice it was to meet them? Yeah they were taken in by Peter's sweet and sassy as they come to find out personality.

It wasn't long that Peter was put on the rotation while on the road. The main difference is each away game; he is shacked up with another player on the team. When home? Well, he shifts between his Aunts home, Tonys penthouse, and even Natasha on occasion.
