I really loved the scenarios you posted on twitter about mr.hollander being obsessed with ilya's curls and the overstim one.

a few ideas/headcanons that may or may not make it into future fics :-)

of course, the hair. mr. hollander grovels and begs and pleads when ilya admits he wants to get it cut. their compromise is regular spa-days for ilya, where he gets his hair trimmed and pampered. mr. hollander goes all out the first time around--pulling out all the big guns, the champagne package--and ilya is mortified. absolutely humiliated. mr. hollander agrees to buy him the slightly less fancy package next time.

speaking of purchasing things: mr. hollander Does Not Get material objects for ilya that do not serve an explicit function in his life. he is not buying ilya multi-thousand dollar suits or fancy cars or anything like that. he is, however, in the business of making ilya's life a tad bit easier, and he's willing to spend money: grocery deliveries, plane ticket upgrades, covering fees for lawyers. it's not that ilya doesn't have the money, but he doesn't oftentimes consider these things as worthwhile. mr. hollander does; he just wants to care for his puppy.

ilya, stupidly and obviously (as much of what he does is), adds mr. hollander as his emergency contact. idiot. it terrifies mr. hollander the first time he's called, because 1) someone else knows that he knows ilya close enough to be an emergency contact and 2) ilya's hurt.
