something twisted in the werewolf's gut when he got that question. someone so young should not be in a position to ask werewolves questions. someone so young shouldn't be wearing a costume, either. but he would save the harsh words for his next meeting with spider-man. for now, jack would oblige the boy.

but  now  that  he's  aware  of  his  glasses  dangling  against  his  neck  ,      they're  starting  to  bother  him  .      in  a  practiced  motion  ,      grace  replaces  the  glasses  on  his  face  ,      opting  to  keep  them  down  the  bridge  of  his  nose  so  he  can  more  easily  stare  at  bailey  from  above  the  rims  .        ❝        i  only  need  these  to  see  things  that  are  close  to  my  face  .      know  what  i'm  looking  at  right  now  ?        ❞        a  vague  gesture  toward  the  wall  on  the  opposite  end  of  the  room  .        ❝        that  poster  over  there  about  fungi  and  protists  .      which  is  what  you  should  be  studying  about  tonight  ,      instead  of  trying  to  get  the  same  question  out  of  your  dad  .        ❞
