so i have no context for this because i couldn’t google the scene and don’t intend to see the movie, but i drew it anyway

(gosh golly gee gaster are you telling me the kid who was adopted by a spider monster, wears tons of spider-themed clothing, is always tired and has a heart of gold is actually spiderkid?  How do you figure?)

i honestly think it’s really funny that people keep assuming i like... know stuff... about spiderman

so uh, disclaimer: spiderverse was my introduction to the franchise. everything else i know is from cultural osmosis and google

anyway earlier on with this i did a comic referencing spiderman 2002 so if we follow that timeline i could see it going down a little like spiderman 2?

but tbh i see it happening a lot more slowly.  spiderkid’s likely to confront chara pretty early on without revealing their identity

anyway this isn’t gonna like, convince them not to kill anyone, but it plants a little bit of doubt in their mind that’s compounded over time

and possibly involves spiderfrisk saving chara’s life once or twice

until finally

anyway, chara would’ve suspected it was frisk for a long time before they really knew for sure, so by the time that happened it would be pretty uneventful, and they’d both just sort of... pretend it never happened, and keep on like they were before
