I just love the Spidey!Clem AU. Itâs got Lee as a caring teacher, Christa as Aunt May, and of course Violet. An excerpt:Â
Violet was quiet, but when she had spoken up, sheâd been pretty funny. Not the Duck kind of funny, the subtle kind. With Duck, his jokes slapped you in the face. Clem liked Duckâs jokes, of course, but Violetâs were just a little more up her alley. They were closer to the kind of jokes sheâd make.
And Violet also had the nicest eyes⌠and arms⌠she had really, really nice arms.
Okay, so maybe Clem had a little crush on her. But honestly, who could blame her? There was just something about the way Violet leaned against the wall in gym like she didnât want to be there (and she probably didnât), or the way her eyes lit up just a little when she made a sarcastic comment in class. Or maybe it was the jackets⌠Clem was a sucker for jackets. Honestly, what is it about jackets that makes people look about ten times more attractive?

In some Spider Clem AUs, Lee is indeed Uncle Ben; sometimes Omid plays that role instead though, and Christa takes on the Aunt May role. Iâm a fan of AUs where Lee does not die, personally haha
Iâve also become a fan of a Spider Clem AU based off of Spider-verse, where Clem is more of a Miles Morales and Lee is Peter B. Parker. Violet is obviously Spider-Gwen. Kenny could be Spider-Noir and Louis HAS to be another one of the Spider-people.Â

Normally when I think of a Spider-Verse AU, I think of Clem as Miles, Lee as Peter B. Parker, Violet as Gwen Stacy, Kenny as Spider-Noir (think Kenny after he loses everybody he loves), etc. Basically, Clem gets mentored by a down-on-his-luck Spider-Man!Lee and also has a bit of a crush on her fellow alternate-universe Spider-Woman Violet.Â
But I love the idea of an older AJ being Miles and Clem as his mentor (perhaps without the alternate universes).Â

Clem knew she had to use her new powers to help people, and to protect them. But that's just another thing on top of everything else. How much can one girl take before it all crashes down?
