Made a powerful tincture of gin to have tomorrow to aid in healing, been steeping it for a week and haven't taken any flu medication today so that the alcohol won't compound with any other chemicals in my liver when I take it tomorrow: Bombay gin mixed with juniper berries (floating and hard to see here), cardamom pod, pink peppercorns, and szechuan peppercorns. ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฟ I'm still feeling like hell, and today was another brutal one, but I haven't been able to celebrate anything, so for the sake of my emotional health (just as important as physical health), I need the healing tincture more than I need Sudafed right now, lmao. ๐ท๐๐ฎ St. Dymphna's been pulling me through this, but barely. I've kept this tincture against her prayer card on my altar this entire time, so it is fully charged and powerful enough to show it's greenish tint even through the blue glass of the bottle. (Green, blue, and white are Dymphna's colours!) ๐๐ฎ๐ You know the tincture is ready to drink when the pink has been stripped from the pink peppercorns by the gin, indicating that good levels of infusion have taken place. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ Drink to clear the sinuses and raise spirits, much like you would a Hot Toddy. Then, ideally, follow up with a glass of cool water and go back to bed! ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด #tincture #herbal #infusion #gin #alcohol #spiritual #spiritualism #spiritualist #witch #witchcraft #sick #healing #healingspell #witchesofinstagram #photo #snapshot #photography #bottle #potion #spicedgin #spell #ritual #herbalist #greenwitch #kitchenwitch #witchery
