I am sure the title of this blog has already set many people’s teeth on edge. Well that’s too bad. Because it is the damn truth!

I’m sorry to have to tell any of the “Karen” witches out there this, but using shortcuts such as a premade spell kit or information found on the internet or in a book, does not make a person a lazy witch. It makes them resourceful. I have no problem with those who do not wish to take advantage of the many resources at the disposal of the modern witch. That is certainly their prerogative. It is not however their right to tell others how they should practice witchcraft.

The way I look at it witches would not be sharing information if they did not wish it to be utilized others. Ideas have been passed on from person to person since the dawn of time. So I am not understanding what all the drama is about.

Also can someone explain the hatred over spell kits? I literally had the proprietor of the store where my handmade goods are sold tell me that someone attack my spell kits as “lazy”. Needless to say I was thrown back by the statement. My spell kits are only a collection of supplies for a witch to use to perform their own spell. I give suggestions as to how the items should be used. In order for the kit to provide the desired results the user must put forth the effort of how they will go about accomplishing their desired goal. My spell kit as well as any other is not fully magickal until the witch using it imbues it with their intentions.

I will conclude this post by stating that if using spell kits or other shortcuts makes me or others who do lazy witches then embrace it! Most of us work mundane jobs that are highly demanding. Why not make your magickal tasks a bit less daunting? I am certainly going to continue to do so and will encourage others to do the same. Until next time be well Witches!!
