When I cast Speak With Dead, the ground shook very strongly, and the connection almost was lost!

But then there was a grinding sound, and these glyphs appeared...

While the usual symbols I've seen here seem to be ideograms, I think most of these glyphs are instead used for representing sounds from other languages. In this case, maybe Common?
